I grew up in Jeddah Saudi Arabia, a haven of
modern architecture that is sometimes quite amazing,
sometimes quite ugly. Growing up in a city with modern
structures hardly tends to make the person not like the
structure. It is not something I like because I am
simply used to seeing it, I like how it is unrestricted.
The structures seem to defy conventions. Nothing has to
be a rectangle anymore; it can be any complex
combination of shapes and sizes. However, I do not
really appreciate like the common glass cube buildings,
unless their internal structure is something awesome.
